My week

This week i been working on my save the bay questions and im doing good on them so far. i also been working on my reading log and been reading Flowers Bed that book is very good its so interesting i wont want to stop reading thats how much i like it. Most likely i been trying to get my work done and trying to finish the work that i need to finish.

Last week was a great week i had a good day on monday and on tuesday and thursday was y internship i like my internship because iht keeps me busy. on friday i had alot of work to do but i managed to get most of it done

The week of nov. 23

On Monday i was working on my independent work and trying to find an independent project. i also started to read my independent book its real good so far. The advisory also worked on QR (math) and CO (Communication) we had a good time. And today which is Tuesday i went to my internship for the first day i like it i was doing a lot of work and it was good because i like to be busy i like it there so far.

Work for today

Today the advisory had watched a senior exhibition in the moring and i worked on my note cards for my own exhibition. tonight the homework that i have if to finish my power point, reding log, and finish note cards.

This week

This week we went to save the bay and wen on the boat and collecte blue crabs,shrim,clams and ect. we also had different apuatic animals and experimened with them came up with different hypothises and ideas of what it may do if you take it out the water or added another animal yo the bowl. The advisory also went to gym with sybrinas advisry and played soccer of course our advisory won we had lots of fun.

Work from wednesday

The work that i did on wednesday was resource search on Heart disease and i did a packet that i had to do after i finished reading my article of heart disease. The advisory also had gym and played Basketball or walked and talked around the gym.On thursday i completed my cover leter and started and did some out line of a story that alin got for us from the internet.Today we did QR for who am I which is doing graphs for the surveys that we passed out to easch advisory and each grade.

This week

This week the advisory and I went to Save The Bay and we went on the boat and was showed how to collected plankton from the bay and looked at salt marsh. I also started on my cover letter for a possible informational interview with the person that works at the place i want to have my LTI at. I aso did some research on heart disease. The advisory also did a fanstasy baseball lesson that has alot to do with QR.

Researching about my esential question

Today i was researching about Heart disease and i had to write some fact and notes of what i read. I went through one article today and have to do another. For the 1st article i completed a packet that my advisor had put together for the advisory. For the second article i didn't finish my packet so I'm working on finishing it for the week end.

My experience with sexism

My experience with sexism......When i open a magazine i see women who's always half naked or is real thin and no kind of shape at all. Men is always shown with big muscle's and have no personality. Younger girls play with dolls and younger boys play with truck or aggressive things.

September 17

Today we had a Kind of simple day we did QR in the morning and had check in and advisory time with the advisory then after lunch we had independent reading but i started to type up my summeray becuase i had finished my book but i didnt finish

Save The Bay + Mural

On monday we joined a program called SAVE THE BAY. During our 2 mile walk to the bay we had to pick up trash to keep the strets clean and all the crash that we picked up wouldnt end up in the sewer or the bay. On tuesday we went and visited a mural that a guy painted on the side of the compare grociery store the mural was very interesting to look at. We also got to meet he mayor and take pictures for the newspaper.

Professionalism pt.2

What Professionalism means to me is to have Body luanguage and wat body luanguage means is to have nice posture , no slouching , no fidgeting. Another one is to Dress appropriate like to have non tight pants, and to always have a botton on your shirt , for a boys you have to at least try to wear a tie, and for girls not to have no unappropriate things. always remember to have proper speaking , no swearing , no slang, always have nice vocabulary. Make sure your on time.

Professionalism

today we have learned the true meaning of professionalism. the way i see it now is to be on time and always organized , be on time, have proper english , proper behavior, dress appropriate , have the right body luanguage ,and good confidence , being professional takes a lot of practice and hard work

my first three days at the met

My first three days at the met was awesome my advisory and i are having lots of fun. We learned how to get to know each other and get along. The Advisory have lot's of fun activities that we can particapate in. Everyone is always having fun we,learned the learning goals and lots of different stuff we all have something in commen witch is liking granola bars. Everything we do here is fun especially the ( pick me up ) and ( kick me out ).
